SINPS Swimming Carnival 2024
The P&C proudly funds our SINPS Sports Coordinator, Jane Vassella. She organises our SISA sport, Gala Days, and swimming, cross country and athletics carnivals.
Jane competed as a Heptathlete at two Olympic Games and is a Commonwealth Games gold and silver medallist. Even better, she's a SINPS parent!
Our sports house names are Indigenous Australian words. Each house has its own war cry.
SINPS Olympics Day 2024
All SINPS students have one "sports day" per week. They wear their sports uniform for the duration of the day.
During the day, they enjoy an onsite session with SISA (Sport in Schools Australia), an external primary school sports provider.

All Year 3-6 students participate in 2 Gala Days per term, on a Friday.
Students participate in either PSSA or School Gala Days. The same sports are offered at both types of Gala Days. Please see below for lists of summer and winter sports.
(N.B. Gala Days are new in 2025, to replace weekly PSSA sessions that were held prior to 2025.)
Students may try out for PSSA (Primary School Sports Association) teams, to represent SINPS and compete against other schools. Buses are organised to take PSSA students to offsite sporting venues for the day.
PSSA students wear a SINPS representative jersey for the duration of the day. These are supplied to students by the Sports Coordinator and returned at the end of the season.
School Gala Days are for students not competing in PSSA. Students play sports at school or at Toolang Oval. They wear their sports uniform for the duration of the day.
