Our fabulous SINPS Canteen is open 5 days a week for recess and lunch.
Julie, our Canteen Manager, regularly updates the menu and daily specials. All our food and drinks are:
nutritious
tasty, and
reasonably priced.
The Canteen does not aim to make a large profit, so we keep our prices low. Any surplus funds are used by the P&C to provide facilities and equipment to benefit our SINPS students.

How do I order?
All orders are placed through the Flexischools app. Start by creating an account, then browse our delicious menu. Please ensure when placing your order that you have chosen the correct day/date and tapped the "Checkout & Pay" button.
When do I need to order by?
You can order up until 8.30am each day.
What if I want to change my order?
Simply cancel your existing order and place a new one by 8.30am on the day.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders can be cancelled up until 8.30am through the Flexischools app. If you need to cancel an order after this time you have until 9.30am to call the Canteen on 9144 7743 to cancel and refund your order.
How does my child get their order?
Recess orders are collected by students at the canteen during recess.
Lunch orders will be delivered to your child’s class in paper bags provided by the Canteen.
If a child has an ice block or jelly in their lunch order, they will need to bring their paper bag (see above) to the Canteen to collect these items during the second half of lunch.
What if my child forgets to take their lunch to school, or if we have ordered incorrectly?
Your child will be offered a vegemite or jam sandwich. They will receive a paper slip to take home to you, asking you to pay $3 via the IOU tab in the Flexischools app.
What if my child receives the wrong order?
Please encourage your child to come and see us if they receive an incorrect order - we are all human and mistakes will occasionally happen. We endeavour to rectify these situations immediately.
What are these Birthday Buckets I keep hearing about?
Our Birthday Buckets are very popular with students as well as their families! They offer a convenient way for your child to celebrate their birthday or special occasion with their classmates. You simply order one ice block or brownie per child in the class via the Flexischools app. On the day, the Birthday Butterfly will visit their classroom to deliver their birthday badge to them. Your child will collect their bucket full of ice blocks or brownies at a time conveniently chosen by their teacher and share with their class!
Can I volunteer for a shift?
Absolutely! The kids LOVE seeing a familiar face in the Canteen. We welcome all parents, grandparents and carers to volunteer. Shifts are 12-2pm, available Monday to Friday. Duties include serving ice blocks to students, packing lunches, and cleaning the class tubs. You choose the date/s that suit you best.
